Who we are
Fueled by nothing more than a sense of adventure
The Boston University Outing Club is a student-led organization that runs dozens of trips throughout the year. We invite all students, faculty, and alumni to come along, regardless of experience level.

What we do
Dozens of trips, every kind of outdoors
We run dozens of trips a year, including hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, biking, canoeing, and climbing. All experience levels are welcome.

How to sign up
Since 1963
“Eight students, one professor, and a hike up Mt. Cardigan.”
That first trip became a tradition we still run every year. Six decades later we've got a gear closet, club cars, and trained trip leaders, but the same goal as ever: get students outside and keep it cheap. Professional companies often charge a hundred to two hundred dollars a trip. We rarely charge more than thirty.
